Delta AS218RX-A AS Series Compact Modular PLC CPU Controller

The Delta AS218RX-A integrates PLC processing, digital I/O, analog signal handling and industrial communication into a single compact controller. Its 8 digital inputs and 6 relay outputs provide a practical interface for sensors, switches, actuators and other field devices, while the built-in 2 analog inputs and 2 analog outputs allow the controller to handle variable process signals. The relay outputs support 240 VAC / 24 VDC, with a maximum resistive load of 2 A per output and 6 A per common for the AS218 series.

Communication flexibility is another important feature of the AS218RX-A. The controller incorporates USB, Ethernet, two RS-485 interfaces and CANopen, allowing it to communicate with HMIs, drives, remote devices and other automation equipment. Supported protocols include Modbus, Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP and CANopen, making the controller suitable for systems requiring integration with different industrial networks.

The AS218RX-A is designed for applications such as machine automation, packaging equipment, electronics manufacturing, labeling machinery, textile equipment and other automated production systems. Its expandable architecture supports up to 32 extension modules, while the AS Series platform provides programming support for Ladder Diagram, Structured Text, Continuous Function Chart, Sequential Function Chart and C Language.
